In a recent study of 2006 graduates, 100% of students who participated in the internship program during their time at ASU had acquired permanent, career-oriented employment. Only 70% of those who did not participate in internships had achieved permanent placement. (Source: Graduate Status Report - www.poly.asu.edu/students/career/.)
The Undergraduate Internship Program* at the Morrison School of Management and Agribusiness can provide you with the opportunity to develop and apply your Business Administration, Real Estate and Agribusiness training to real-world problems and opportunities in a mentoring-based work setting, hosted by local businesses. Internships are a well-planned and focused learning opportunity where you gain knowledge and skills beyond the classroom.
Internships are designed to enhance and add to your current business skills, giving you a new and broader understanding of your chosen career field. Internships also have been shown to have a material effect on job placement after graduation. Whether you are looking to enter the work force directly after graduation or are headed to graduate school, internships are a key part of a successful career and learning portfolio.
