The Morrison School of Management prepares leaders to succeed in today’s technology-rich global economy. Some of the programs in the Morrison School can be traced back to the university’s founding in 1885, when the institution was established to offer instruction in the areas of “husbandry” and “agricultural chemistry.” The School was named in honor of Marvin and June Morrison in 1998. Marvin Morrison was widely recognized for his leadership in the agribusiness sector. Lifelong residents of Gilbert, Arizona, they are also recognized for their commitment to civic activities and education. The Morrison School aspires to offer international leadership in the area of agribusiness in addressing many of today’s challenges related to food, fiber, and resource utilization.
